RED Poppies
I'm not sure if these are in fact poppies (because I only know of the orange colored ones) but it was quite dramatic coming upon these in an area that I have been MANY times and never seen them before.

Wonderful shot, Hector. Yes these are poppies the reds really set this picture of nicely. Sometimes it's known for them to grow if the ground has been disturbed at some time.Kind regards John.
