Whaling ships in Grytviken
Grytviken auf der subantarktischen Inselgruppe South Georgia war eine Walfangstation.
1966 wurde die Station geschlossen, nachdem die Walpopulation dezimiert war und der Walfang international geächtet wurde.

Gott sei Dank gibts das nicht mehr in dem Ausmaß. Das war grausam.Die Schiffswracks vor dieser schönen Landschaft, das sind enorme Gegensätze.
