The coming storm

It resembles a giant ominous mushroom hanging over the savannah. In reality, the scene is a weather cluster called a “microburst,” a phenomenon that occurs when cooled air rushes to the ground from a thunderstorm and spreads across land at speeds of over 100 miles per hour, creating a powerful and centralized air flow. The giraffes walking past seem not to be bothered by the storm. In the distance you can see that a local cloudburst has erupted. The size is sometimes up to 3 km!
