..no rain but everything is wet. You give a very special image of this city...In former days "Soho" was another word for criminal activities...This part of London had a very bad image, really. But now is "cleaned" I think. And expensive. Ciao, mia cara, buona giornata! Love, Ansgar

  Soho has been an area colonised by foreign communities since ancient times as it was totally abandoned by the British who previously used it as a hunting ground.
  Since the wheel of life always turns today it is a large neighbourhood that offers all kinds of entertainment, fashion shops, theatres, restaurants and bars but above all music jazz clubs that began their fame in the 1950s and frequented by various pop/rock bands such as the Rolling Stones, Animals, Jimi Hendrix and not excluding my beloved Pink Floyd.
  I should add that in the 70s I bought my first miniskirt there, and in the 90s I ate the best Peking duck of my life in a Chinatown restorant... :))

  Thanks for this lesson in history! I didn't know that. Very interesting,really. For us Germans "Soho" was for a long time a synonymous for "Crime". There are a lot of movies acting in this part of the city - with actors like Klaus Kinski, Joachim Fuchsberger or Karin Dor. But that all was a long time ago and is nearly forgotten...Ciao, Crissy!   Sì è carina quell'insegna. Considerato il quartiere e quello che si intravvede dalla vetrina si tratterà sicuramente di un bar o un ristorante, niente di più, anche se in fondo alla strada c'è un noto jazz club...
