Dune light

Bei Swakopmund Dunen durch die Nebeldecke gelingt es manchmal einem Lichtstrahl einen bestimmten Dünenkamm aufzuleuchten.
Swakopmund Dunens highlighted by an opening through the fog, a ray of light succeeds in illuminating a dune ridge.

I do envy the wonderful landscapes you have available. You do so much with them.
How do you keep the sand out of your lens ?

  Thank you Colin. Keeping the lens clean is impossible, the wind starts at about 10a.m. and on bad afternoons it is impossible to stand straight or trying to get out of the wind by e.g. standing behind the car door, the wind treats the door as if it were a thin sheet of cardboard.(and this wind is ice cold, a south west wind straight from Antartica)
