Der erste Blick aus dem Fenster zeigte einen komplett bewölkten Himmel zur Morgendämmerung. Dennoch habe ich mich auf den Weg zum Aldeyarfoss gemacht und schon unterwegs zeigte sich ein erstes rotes Glühen am nördlichen Horizont. Dieses Glühen steigerte sich noch massiv, als ich am Wasserfall war und wurde nahezu unglaublich intensiv (obwohl es inzwischen sogar leicht regnete), bis es dann kurz vor Sonnenaufgang wieder verschwand...
