a beautiful reminder of the 80's...reminds me of Keren Woodward from Bananarama and also of past muses! Thank you for sharing.

Thanx a lot, Robert, for bringing this picture back in discussion, as me and the rest of the viewers will have the chance to comment on it again.
Well, I have to admit that when I was done with your portfolio's collection (seen them all carefully) I returned once again to Mary's file in order to take an even closer look of it. And I did that for a specific purpose; I couldn't ignore the fact that you have been shooting her face since... almost forever! This simple truth is very touching, yet reveals with the most elegant way the sincere relationship that exists (out there) between an artist and his muse. I mean, when did Mary first start to pose just for your shake, satisfying all your requirements and thirst for photographic experimentation and research in front of your camera? Wasn't that when she was just a young girl, some thirty years ago (or, maybe, earlier)? A beautiful and delicate woman (she deserves that title) who never refused to pose through the years, no matter what her body and face looked, was looking or looks like (younger then, aging now). As every photo is a silent still image, she is the silent and exposed hero too, the one who joined you and never said "no". And how do we know that? Because we are able to see it from the entire series, you presented both your relationship and the path you walked together.
Let me tell you that this particular portrait is not this important because of the "artistic overdose" that may provides to someone. It is important because it can be considered (by anyone) as the start of your common photowalk. I don't know Mary, don't know the way she thinks or reacts and never even heard the voice of hers. But this is not a problem. For, on the other hand, I can see her portraits and think of her as one of the persons who WALKED!

    Regards,
    Enne See.
