The brick cap is a fungus that grows usually in (small) clusters on deciduous stumps and dead tree trunks.
With their reddish appearance they form a beautiful color accent in the dark forest.

German name : Ziegelroter Schwefelkopf
Latin name : Hypholoma sublateritium (previous Psilocybe sublateritia)
