Kuta Beach forty years ago
I scanned my slide photos from the old days and compared it with today situation. The photo shows Kuta beach 40 years ago during my first visit on Bali island.
But today the same place got an overcrowded tourist stronghold with annoying many beach vendors, which unfortunately do not leave us a minute quietude.
The unique idyll still can be found today but a few kilometers northwest towards Canggu.
The photo was captured in November 1978 with a KONIKA T4 camera and a KODAK Ektachrome 50 ASA film, scanned with a NIKON CoolScan V ED.
