The surreal landscape of the active Volcano Brennisteinsalda (855m, middle-right) in rhyolite based Landmannalaugar mountains in the Highlands of Iceland during a beautiful summer day. The dots along the trail down from Bláhnúkur (~945m) are actually people, but hard to see in this small web-version of the photo.
