Hebridean Tour: Drying Green - Trockenleinen

Last stop on our Hebridean Tour: Taken near Stornoway airport, where I'd already checked in but just had to get a last couple of shots!
These lines are used for drying hay as normal hay stacks would lift the hay too high off the ground and it could blow away in the gusts of wind from the sea. Thanks to Maguire for the explanation.
Hebridean and Scotland Fans don't worry - there is more to come but first let's travel in other directions;-).

Letzte Station auf unserer Tour: Unweit vom Flughafen Stornoway. Ich hatte bereits eingecheckt, aber wollte unbedingt noch ein letztes Bild!
Diese Leinen sind für das Heutrocknen gedacht. Bei einem normalen Heuhaufen könnte die Meeresböhen das Heu wegpusten. Danke an Maguire für die Erklärung.
Allen Hebriden- und Schottland-Fans keine Sorge - es kommt noch einiges, aber zuerst gibt es andere hoffentlich reizvolle Motive ;-)
