Am frühen Morgen machte ich mich auf zur Halbinsel Dyrholaey in der Nähe der südisländischen Stadt Vík í Mýrdal auf, um den bekannten Felsbogen zu fotografieren. Daran war leider nicht zu denken, starker Ostwind machte den Aufenthalt im Rand der Klippe unmöglich – man konnte kaum stehen, geschweige denn, ein Stativ aufstellen. Auf dem Rückweg zum Parkplatz machte ich im Windschatten des Leuchtturms eine kurze Rast und stellte dabei fest, dass die Windabdeckung durch das Gebäude ein paar Aufnahmen des Leuchtturms ermöglichte
