Colorado River 3...after...Grand Canyon
After Colorado River is joined by the Little Colorado River, its color becomes a paler shade of its once deep red. It continues to gain sediments from various smaller tributaries, and runs reddish-brown throughout the remainder of Grand Canyon NP until it is once again dammed at Lake Mead, behind Hoover Dam.
