Can anyone identify the painting this house is in?
This is a picture of the Olsen House in Cushing, Maine. This house is the background to one of the most famous contemporary paintings of our time. Can anyone tell me the name of the painting that this house is in and the artist that painted it?

Esti, you are correct. The pictures actual name is Christina's World. My great Gandmother's sister married the younger brother of the woman in that painting. I stopped by to pay my respects to my aunt and uncle when I took this photo.Esti Eini 18/05/2005 8:42
I think it is Andrew Wyeth. There is a woman sitting with her back to us looking at that building. Is that right?If not, my second guess would be Edward Hopper although I can't find the exact house.
