Die Stadt und die Straßenbahn hat sich mächtig gemausert. Nach der Wende hätte man der heruntergekommenen Bahn kaum eine Überlebenschance gegeben. Inzwischen hat sich das Streckennetz fast verdoppelt.Mit diesen 21-Meterwagen hat man auch ein, für die Größe der Stadt passenden Wagentyp gefunden.
