Architectural Melange - A FiDi Impression

I'm often attracted to the fascinating melange of architectural styles in New York, with buildings of
various eras and styles, often cheek-by-jowl, especially when shot in tele-compressed perspective.

And if fire escapes and a traditional Bishop's Crook lamppost (better still, two) can be part of that mix, as in this scene captured last month in the Stone Street Historic District of Lower Manhattan, the attraction is all the more irresistible.

FiDi, by the way, is New York "shorthand" for Financial District.
