A skerry island nearby Nusa Penida
A skerry is a small rocky island, or islet, usually too small for human habitation.
It may simply be a rocky reef.
A skerry can also be called a low sea stack.
On the way on the ocean to Diving Manta Point by Nusa Penida we were passing some of this small rock islands named Batupahet at the starboard side respectively port side on the way back home to Bali island.

Solch einen Torbogen gab es bis vor kurzem auch vor Darwin (Galapagos). Leider ist er 2021 wegen fortschreitender Verwitterung eingestürzt, und es sind nur zwei Säulen übriggeblieben.the arch
