Nun habe ich alle deine Europabilder durchsucht, um diesen Bahnhof zu finden :-). Und ich habe festgestellt, dass ich manch andere deiner Reiseziele auch schon besucht habe...LG Doris

ohoo, dear Adele..... your photo is wonderful, so crisp and clear it could be an architectural rendering.The gingerbread comment was re. the colors........ it reminded me of the witch's house in Hansel and Gretel. As for the style it's definitely Neo-Romanesque. It was in fashion at the end of the 19th century. In the US it was H.H. Richardson who started it and it quickly spread to Canada (Old Toronto City Hall and U of T University College, my favorite blg on the campus.)
Art Nouveau is something entirely different, but I am glad you like it. so do I. best regards, janos

In diesem Bahnhof war ich auch schon, ein sehr schönes Gebäude... aber auch hier waren viele Obdachlose und Drogensüchtige... damals gleich nach der Wende für uns Ostdeutschen eine Gesellschaft der Gegensätze, diese Eindrücke vergießt man nie..LG Conny
