I'm Steve and i've always had a vague interest in photography. I learned the basics at school when I did GCSE level, but never really continued with it. However, I have recently 'caught the bug' again and after playing about for a while with my old crappy camera, bought a 2nd-hand 'Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ5EB' from my friend who is also a member here.
I'm looking forward to learning as much as possible from the community on here and would appreciate any help, tips or comments people can give me along the way. Obviously I am at a very basic standard at present, but hopefully that will change in time!
I suppose my photographic interests are influenced by my main hobbies/interests, which is sport and cars. But I can definately appreciate photo's for what they are, rather than just the subject itself, so i'm sure my horizon will expand as I go along.
Well that's about it for now but as I said before, I will appreciate any help I can get and look forward to learning from what seems to be some amazing photographers on here.
