Thank you very much I'm trying to get more into the street scene once again, without provoking the age-old issue of photographing things and people in public. Ever since 9/11, there has been a creeping sense of paranoi that has really done damage to the old street "fotog". I suppose there are still millions of charming iimages being captured out there, but with a price. Oh, to harken back to the "good old days", when strolling down the avenue with your Canon at the ready was old hat, and very acceptable. These days, if you take a photo of, say, a bridge, or church spire, the click of the shutter is soon followed by the snap of handcuffs! We have a local apple festival coming up in a week, so I'm going to venture forth with my Canon 550D and 50mm lens. I know for certain there will be more bikers! Wish me luck!Dave Keen 24/04/2013 14:50

Thank you for your comments about my flower series Robin.Dave Keen 13/12/2012 21:04
Thanks again, Robin! I'm wandering through my vast archives to find some other subjects I can transform with my new-found "toy". As you can see, I have a ways to go in the world of color manipulation!Dave Keen 12/12/2012 16:07
Thank you very much for you comments, Robin! Much appreciated! I like your work, too. You have the same basic minimalist eye as I do. I agree with the old adage that "less is more". Welcome to the family!
