Washing away the crosses

God was so happy with the donkey work (helping Noah) that all the angels were sent down with scrubbing brushes, hot water and soap to scrub off their crosses. The towels were laid out to dry on the hills and a strong wind blew them up in the sky. They turned into clouds when God wrung them out and the rain caused a big flood. Some of the angels lost a few golden wing feathers and they turned into gold nuggets following in the wake of the Ark but some were scattered by the water. That is why God made the rainbow so that even to this day you may find an angel at the end of one searching for a pot of gold bringing a message of peace. It is not common knowledge that the Ark was built near Stonehenge or that Noah was a cornishman from Polperro. But that is another story..
