Time To Say Goodbye - Flood in Germany
As many of you may have heard...mid of July we had a "century flood" wiping away cars, bridges and buildings in many parts of the west. I was not affected because our house is above on a hill, but lower down and in neighbouring towns the damage was terrifying - like here in Eschweiler. The stores in the centre are almost completly destroyed. This photo captured in the pedestrian area and titled „Time to Say Goodbye..." may be a symbol for all who have lost so much...

Der Kontrast der Verwüstung zu den lachenden Werbefrauen fällt mir sofort auf. Er ist für mich Aussage bestimmend. Vergangenheit und heute spiegelt sich auch wieder.Gefällt mir
