Eine schöne Tradition und ein Zeichen, daß Schotten im Polizeidienst irgendwann in der Geschichte dieser Institution einen wesentlichen Einfluß gehabt haben müssen. Ich habe gerade mit viel Amüsement alle diese Details studiert. Aus heutiger Sicht sehen diese Polizisten jedenfalls ganz schön exotisch aus:-).

what a nice tradition! looks like a windy day, with their headgear being ruffled and those fabulous scarfs blowing in the wind! love, how you managed to include both the parading people and those watching the parade! so much to see and to discover in the crowd! my favorite details are the drumming hands and the man throwing the camera a glance from his spot under the "vancouver police" sign! ; ) hugs, sabine.
