The Living Forest (788) : Brambling
The brambling is a songbird, breeding in the tundra forests of northern Europe, Russia and further into eastern Siberia.
Each year in september bramblings migrate to western & southern Europe to avoid the harsh winter conditions in the far North.
My shot shows the bird in its winter plumage.
Dutch name : Keep
German name : Bergfink
Latin name : Fringilla montifringilla
