And suddenly there was..... a squeaky orange dot between the green…..
I guess that everybody knows this beautiful and photogenic little fellow, the robin.
This passerine bird with its striking orange breast is found across Europe, east to western Siberia and south to North Africa.
It’s one of the few birds with both male and female bearing a similar plumage.
Dutch name : Roodborstje
German name : Rotkehlchen
Latin name : Erithacus rubecula
