The Giza Plateau

with the Cheops, Khafre and Menkaure Pyramids ....
probably the best known view of the pyramids - for me an amazing experience to see them firsthand and also to see the city so close by.

Oh! Les Pyramides sans "marchands du temple" ni touristes. Les Pyramides comme il y a 4'000 ans (je me souviens, c'était comme ça...)
    Mais comment as-tu fait?! Félicitations!

yes, that's the iconic sight we all know – desert-like… just to stand right there, facing them, must have been a stunning experience! what great historical witnesses of human existence on earth and what an ingenious, awe-inspiring work of architecture they are! hugs, sabine.

Adele, no matter if I have visited the place three times, each one can be considered single, from the point of view of the so many new elements one can discover and observe. Your photo offers an excellent panoramic view of the plateau, the scale and, especially, the city in the background completes a perfect and again inviting composition.
    best regards alexander

I am a believer of the mathematical symbols the pyramid has namely the 3,5,8 numbers that are part of the Fibonacci Series.
Stay safe and enjoy Egypt trip.

Finally you are there with a great view. Excellent photo of the pyramids. It is amazing how the city has grown right up to them.

....the Pyramids are among the great wonders of the world and see them in person is a very moving experience, and to touch one with the knowledge that people of that period may have touched the exact same spot is mind blowing, very nice image with lovely color and detail.....
    Best Wishes,
