Thai shore side of Me Nam Moei
The Mae Nam Moei River is a tributary of the Salween River. Unlike most rivers in Thailand, the Moei River flows north in a northwest direction.
The other side of the river is Burmese territory and easy for the refugees to cross during the dry season.
