Der Rum wird hier etwas anders destilliert. Man fügt von Anfang an dem Zuckerrohr die Vanilleschoten hinzu, so dass diese im ganzen Vorgang dabei ist. Sie wird nicht am Ende zugesezt; das macht den Rum so einzigartig.
