In this lesson: „FOR LADIES ONLY“ = Nur für Frauen“
This lesson is an example of the difference in the definite articles (1). In German there is “der”, “die” and “das”. In English there is only "the".The sign, the car, the traffic cone (2), the point at "4.07" and the photographer are not ladies. Only the puddle (3), the wall and the numbers on the sign may park there.
