Rostro de Jesucristo / Jesus' face
Esta es una gigantesca roca en la que un rostro aparece tallado misteriosamente. El llamado "Rostro de Jesucrito" está ubicado camino a la Las cataratas de Antakallo, en el departamento de Lima, provincia de Huarochiri, distrito de Matucana en mi maravilloso Perú... :)

This is a gigantic rock where we can see a face mysteriously carving. It's called "Jesus' face" and it is located near Antakallo waterfalls in Lima department, in a province called Huarochiri, inside a district called Matucana...all this at my wonderful Peru... :)

Bueno, el nombre de mi foto no es más que el nombre del lugar...así le dicen. La verdad yo no veo el rostro de Jesús por ningún lado (o por lo menos el rostro "conocido" de Jesús) pero si se nota claramente la forma de un rostro X.
Siempre hay lugares con formas muy interesantes, por ejemplo aquí tenemos algunos lugares que se les conocen como: "Bosques de piedra" en donde puedes ver muchas piedras gigantescas con formas diferentes, ya sean de animales o cosas...
Ojalá pueda ver tu foto de la "nariz del diablo" pronto.

hola iveth, el nombre de tu foto es muy interesante y se aprecia las facciones de un rostro me gusta.aqui en colombia tambien hay unas formas curiosas una de esas se llama la nariz del diablo es un paso de carretera y se aprecia una nariz gigante punti aguda el lugar tiene mucha fama por que an ocurrido terribles accidentes, un dia de estos vez la foto.

@Thomas:Well, Matucana is about 2,389 mts above the sea level...so maybe that's why the landscape is so different from the the one located over the coast.
I don't know why they called it "Rostro de Jesucristo", but anyway you know most people around here believe so much in Jesus, so maybe that's why they relate almost everything to religion...
Anyway, I'm just assuming things...

What a green landscape there, very contrary to the coast! You can clearly see the nose and the mouth. Do you know why they call it "Jesus face" ? If there is a legend about a wonder or so? Nice picture!
