QueensScape No. 23 - Comings and Goings on the Queensboro Bridge

As an Astoria Line train of the New York City Subway system rumbles above on this winter night,
pedestrians and scooter-riders make their way between Manhattan and Long Island City, Queens,
on the Queensboro Bridge. The view is toward Queens Plaza in downtown L-I-C.

The Astoria Line trains, which connect Manhattan with Queens via the 60th Street Tunnel under
the East River, use two ramps, one in each direction, along the north side of the Queensboro
Bridge to serve the elevated Queensboro Plaza Station, the first stop in Queens.
