Out To Impress
A male ruff in full plumage out to attract a mate. I watched him running quickly around and then suddenly lying prone with his beak in the earth and his plumage extended. Fascinating little bird with gorgeous coloured feathers. The lengths one has to go to to appeal to the opposite sex.
