North Blyth locomotive depot.
We used to spend all night in the Depot at North Blyth and would occassionally be treated to footplate trips to and from the mines where coal was picked up and taken to Blyth Power Station. This shot is at dawn after one such night we spent on ex LMR Class 4MT 43063, seen here waiting to be stabled in the depot's roundhouse. In the distance workers are clearing out the ash pit where the fire's were dropped.
