Nachmittags-Parade in Splügen
Arriving at my destination of Splügen in Switzerland's rugged Via Mala region at the end of a long journey
by air, train, and Post Bus, I found immediate enchantment in the mountain village views from my room in
the 300 year old Hotel Bodenhaus, as well as from the chorus of cowbells drawing ever nearer.
Returning to my window, I saw, just below, the reason for the clangorous crescendo!
