Morning Solitude

A peaceful calm over Hinckley Lake as the Canadian Geese start to awake.

Driving in to work Tuesday morning and seeing the wonderful foggy conditions I just had to stop and take a few images of the fog. The only camera I had with me was my used ( KEH.com) point and shoot that I keep in the cars glove box for just such emergency photo opportunities.

I can't see any real emergency.
This view looks so calm and quiet,
except for the geese, saying Good Morning
to each other.

Thank goodness for that KEH.com in your glove box, what a treat we would have missed. This again is beautiful....well composed, with great atmosphere and with the perfect amount of details showing through the fog.

i agree with bryan!! you and your little emergency point and shoot did a great job! an image that conveys emotion beautifully! early morning – it's probably the only time of the day the bench gets to feel light and carefree – no people lounging on it yet, so it gets to enjoy the view of the calm lake and waking-up geese in blissful solitude! ; ) greetings, sabine.
