Michigan | Round Island Lighthouse |
Round Island Lighthouse was erected in 1895, decommissioned in 1947 (replaced by an automated fire).
Restoration started in 1972 and now its dedicated into the National Register of Historical Places.
On the way to Mackinaw Island you will pass the island very close.

Uiii, was für ein entzückender Leuchtturm.Ich steh total auf Leuchttürme, sie fehlen mir an der Hamme und Wümme ;-)
Da muss man halt in die weite Welt hinaus, hilft nix..
