South Dakota | small town Post Office |
Wall is a small town located in South Dakota in the vicinity of the Badlands.
Just a few hundred citizens, but a well known, famous drugstore. Opened as a pharmacy in the 1930´s its now a large roadside attraction for tourists with a fascinating story behind.
The Post Office, hardly noticeable, is wedged in between a row of other souvenir shops along the main plaza.

@ Ken: we´ve been to Wall Drug, sure :-) We saw the signs really hundreds of miles before and were wondering about. A few days later we checked it out on the way to the Badlands N.P.The café is very atmospheric :-)
