Market woman selling Kapi
The shrimp paste made of big shrimps or prawn is a basic ingredient in the Thai cousin.
The origin of shrimp paste seems to point to Maritime Southeast Asia. According to Thai tradition, the origin of Kapi can be traced to their southern territory but the market woman sells out the own made Kapi for 60 Baht per kilo.
