I just took this portrait of my best friend with my new Nikon D2h. I used the Nikkor 85/1.4 D lens....1/50 sec @ f.5.6

hi craig, it's still a fine portrait :-)i think that it happened accidentally that the picture landed in the category of children, but next time you don't have to delete the photo ...
you've to go to "ändern" under the picture and there change the category (only the section "motive" isn't changeable)

I agree, Markus. I am just learning portaiture and I didn't know enough to use a wider aperture. I will do it next time for you. I will get closer and just do his head. Thanks for the kind advice!~Craig

great eys, good facial expression and tough guy, but the 5.6 ist a little to much closed and the buket(background) not so fine/soft as it could be with the 85/1.4 and perhaps wide open at 2.8.Mark D.
