LMC. The Large Magellanic Cloud und SMC small magellanic Cloud über
Chale Island, Kenya.
LMC and SMC can be seen only from locations on the Southern Hemisphere or close to the equator
LMC ist ca 150.000 Lichtjahre entfernt und ca 14.000 LJ Durchmesser ( ca 1/7 unserer Milchstraße )
SMC: Entfernung circa 200tsd Lichtjahre Durchmesser circa 7000LY.
Canon EOS 40d modified und Canon 1 2,8 17-35mm L lens bei F 33mm, f 3.2 ISO 800 stack von 5exp je 120 sec nachgeführt mit astrotrac bei vereinfachter polausrichtung mit Kompass und Winkelmesser, der einzig praktikablen Methode am Äquator
