Into the Wild?
In my work I am comparing and contrasting the growth of modernism and its influence on natural world. There are not many places left where civilization’s progress is unnoticeable. Is it possible these days to live in the wild and be totally separate from civilization? My work presents diverse places touched by industrial and economic growth on different scales.
My photo ‘Into the Wild?’ shows a house hiding between tress like it’s trying to separate from the inconvenient and noisy motorway built next to it. The other photo called ‘The house with an extra chimney’ presents a little cottage and a power station behind it. It seems impossible to truly escape from globalisation and human activity.
