Insel Ortygia bei Syrakus: Apollon- und Artemistempel
Die Insel Ortygia ist von Syrakus (Siracusa) her nur über eine Brücke zu erreichen. Hier war eines der Zentren des alten Griechenlands im Mittelmeerraum: Ein Machtzentrum mit mehr als einer Million Einwohner - heute sind es nur noch etwas über 120'000. Ortygia war für mich atmosphärisch einer der Höhepunkte unserer Sizilienreise. Ich beginne meine Ortyga-Serie mit dem Apollon- und Artemistempel.

Ah, sehr interessante Aufnahme. Wollte schon mal anfragen, ob Du auch in Syrakus warst. Da bin ich noch nicht hingekommen, vielleicht doch noch in diesem Leben :-)Gruß, Wolfram
