Hyacinth Macaw - Hyazinth-Ara
(Anodorhynchus hyacinthinus)
With 1.3 kg weight and a length of up to 1 m, the Hyacinth Macaw (Anodorhynchus hyacinthinus) is the largest flying parrot in the world.
Life expectancy in captivity is up to 90 years, in freedom about 25 years.
Since 2016, the Hyacinth Macaw is classified on the IUCN list as endangered.
Mit 1,3 kg Gewicht und einer Länge von bis zu 1m, ist der Hyazinth-Ara (Anodorhynchus hyacinthinus) der größte, flugfähige Papagei der Welt.
Die Lebenserwartung in Gefangenschaft liegt bei bis zu 90 Jahren, in Freiheit bei ca. 25 Jahren
Seit 2016 wird der Hyazinth-Ara auf der IUCN-Liste als gefährdet geführt
