Die Glanz Scabiose (Scabiosa lucida) hat ihren Verbreitungsgebiet in den Alpen und Balkan in einer Höhelnlage von 1000 - 2700 m. Wächst auf Kalkmagerrasen und Felsschutt - wie hier auf dem Weg zum Südanstieg zum Breithorn 2506 m ,Steinernes Meer, Salzburg. Im Hintergrund das Birnhorn in den Leoganger Steinbergen.
