Former royal palace

The the former royal palace had been burnt to the ground during the Dutch intervention (Pututan) in Bali (1906), and used it as a model for its outside walls and courtyards.
Then a foundation that will manage the museum formed in 1932 to smooth the museum’s operations. Meanwhile, on December 8, 1932, it held the first inauguration of the Balinese museum in Denpasar.

Now there are four main buildings used for the museum. This is one of the building which is used as one of the exhibition rooms of the museum.
