Thank you Jutta. I think the color is a bit garish. I know so little in photoshop and was trying out the few techniques I've learned. There is a black cast at the top of the tulip petals and I don't know how to lighten that or soften the color. So more practice. I think I need to understand layers next. Beautiful, I love tulips. Our magnolia (tulip tree) is currently in bloom, a first sign of spring. I always find it very hopegiving. :)elisabetta
