At a tour in Bukhara outer blocks on a Sunday the streets were largely empty. In one of the alleys was suddenly an old woman sitting up against a wall.
I stood a long time and wondered if I would ask if I could shoot. Eventually went to her and quickly took several photos with little reaction from the woman. Showed the photos to her and left. Think I got a little smile, but now after I am a bit unsure.
Sometimes wonder what happened to her and why she was sitting there in a complete picture blank area. Did she lived there?
