diese Grabwespenart kommt auch in Südeuropa vor.
etwa 17-27mm
Schwarz; Petiolus gelb; Scutellus bei Weibchen gelb, bei Männchen meist schwarz; Scapus gelblich; Vorder- und Mittelbeine gelb, nur die Schenkel basal geschwärzt; Hinterbeine gelb, Schenkel distal zur Hälfte schwarz, ebenso die Tibien.
