Duell
In spring I observed several weeks some Black-wing Stilt in a swamp-area in Camargue from my floating hide. I was able to watch the birds mating as well as raising their young. I noticed the graceful Black-wing Stilt above all because of their aggressiveness. Any other bird was allowed to come close to the little swamp-lake and were immediately driven away. So when I saw the duck, which is much bigger than the Black-wing Stilt, I couldn't have imagined that it would be scared away so quickly ...

Großartige Szene hervorragend festgehalten! Es ist schon erstaunlich, wie der fast etwas zerbrechlich wirkende Stelzenläufer sich selbst gegen größere Konkurenten durchsetzt.Ein feines Wildlife!!!

Glückwunsch zum Foto der Stunde und für eine Aufnahme voller Dynamik & Spannung ... mir gefällt besonders gut die Höhe der Wasserkante und somit auf die Höhe der Stockentendame ... damit wird der Blickwinkel zur Schwarzflügelstelze ausdrucksstark und es macht sich ein Gefühl breit ... als sitzt man mitten drin ... statt nur dabei ... ringsum gelungen Alexandra ...
