While my wife has been interviewed for a teaching job I was walking around. I have notice a dragonfly resting on a small branch.

I chose the smallest aperature available (3.5) and moved my body to get the blueish flower as background and out of focus. The eyes of the dragonfly are sharp but its fragile wings and tail run smoothly out of focus.

It was a very cheap lens but even with low priced photographic equipment it is possible to shoot pleasing subject.

The picture was not altered in any way.
